Pitch a Presentation: 2022 Health Datapalooza
Conference Information
February 14 - 5, 2022
Location: Crystal Gateway Marriott, Arlington, VA
General Information
Now more than ever, we need meaningful discussions across the public (governmental) and private sectors on the future of health data and our collective successes and failures in using that data to address the most pressing challenges in health care.
The in-person 2022 Health Datapalooza seeks presentations that shed light on topics such as how health care has adapted to the myriad impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and continued to address inequities in health and how the health data community can achieve improved patient empowerment and engagement, better data security, and ultimately, improved outcomes for individuals and communities, among other themes. [See below for more information on themes.]
If your proposal is accepted, you will be invited to share your latest innovations, successes (or stumbles), and strategies for catapulting our data ecosystem forward. This year, we are particularly interested in sessions that support bold thinking and collaborative problem solving. We are designing a program that helps you and other attendees walk away with "aha!" moments and insights so you can take these new ideas, solutions and products home and take action in your communities.
The 2022 Health Datapalooza will cover a breadth of relevant topics. Insights into consumer-facing technologies, patient experience, telemedicine, value-based systems transformation, multi-sector data sharing, privacy and security, real-word evidence, artificial intelligence, and international approaches are welcome.
There are three ways to think about your contribution:
- As a fully designed, 75-minute session where you propose the content and speakers; OR
- As a brief rapid fire presentation where you are the only speaker; OR
- As a poster or other visual presentation highlighting your new tool, solution, or impact.
Please note: AcademyHealth has long been committed to diversity of opinions and perspectives. Only a truly inclusive program and strategy will result in the progress our nation so sorely needs. Panel submissions will only be accepted if they reflect multiple points of view and include a diversity of participants and perspectives.
All submitters should be prepared to present in-person. A subset of content will be selected to be presented virtually. Information about your presentation format will be included in notifications.
This will be a vaccine-required event. All in-person attendees and presenters will be asked to show proof of vaccination to enter the conference space.
DEADLINES: Don't miss your chance to pitch a presentation: The deadline for submission is Monday, December 20, 2021, 5pm ET. Submissions will be reviewed for quality and innovation, and the chosen sessions will make up the concurrent program at Health Datapalooza, along with sessions developed by the 2022 Planning Committee.
