Water Resources, Ecohydrology, Ecological Restoration and Management in Cold and Arid Regions
Water Resources, Ecohydrology, Ecological Restoration and Management in Cold and Arid Regions
Session ID#: 246837
Session Description:
With intensifying global environmental changes, hydrological processes are undergoing significant alterations, particularly in cold and arid regions, where water resources and ecosystems face increasingly severe challenges. This session emphasizes the complex interactions between eco-hydrological processes and environmental changes (e.g., human activities and climate changes), along with water resource and ecosystem managements. It aims to offer an interdisciplinary communication platform for researchers, water resource managers, and environmental policymakers to collaboratively advance scientific understanding and practical innovations in water resources and ecohydrology. Submissions are invited on topics including, but not limited to:Key hydrological and ecological processes and their interactions in cold and arid regions;Water resources effects of multi-scale changes in eco-hydrological processes;Water, carbon and nitrogen cycling: from ecosystem to watershed scales;Applications of innovative experimental, observational, and modeling techniques;Water resources security and ecological protection and restoration;Water resource and ecosystem management frameworks under environmental changes;
