Assessment Tools to Understand Impact of Community/University Partnerships
Assessment Tools to Understand Impact of Community/University Partnerships
Session ID#: 249651
Session Description:
If you work on community-based projects, you probably have wondered if your project is impacting society. Evaluation and assessment measures are integral parts in fostering successful and sustainable university-community partnerships. In order to understand the impact of these partnerships, it is necessary to produce a comprehensive evaluation of all project stakeholders, both immediately post-project as well as 3-5 years after the partnership has ended. In this session, EPIC-N staff will guide session attendees through an evaluation and assessment framework. Drawing upon a professional academic review of EPIC-N monitoring, evaluation, and learning tools, presenters will provide tips and practical tools related to evaluations for community members, faculty, and students, ripple effects mapping for long-term impact evaluation, reporting methodologies, return on investment assessments, and ways that evaluation results can be shared with different stakeholders.
