Advancing Hydroinformatics with Artificial Intelligence: Transforming Data into Action for Integrated Water Resource Management
Session ID#: 252751
Session Description:
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Hydroinformatics is revolutionizing the way we understand, manage, and protect water resources. As data from sensors, satellite observations, and historical records becomes more comprehensive, AI offers a powerful pathway for converting this information into actionable insights. This session solicits abstracts that focuses on the application of Data Science And Artificial Intelligence in addressing various water-related challenges—ranging from flood forecasting and drought management to smart water infrastructure, water quality monitoring, and reservoir operations. Contributions may include novel algorithms, innovative data integration techniques, real-time decision support systems, and case studies demonstrating AI’s role in advancing Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM). The session aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue between data scientists, hydrologists, engineers, and policymakers to accelerate the responsible deployment of AI in integrated water resource management.
