Multi- and interdisciplinary research can facilitate the evolution of science and spawn new disciplines.  This session explores how collaborations among data managers, informaticists, technologists, and science practitioners combined with the functional capacities of observational/computational infrastructures are enabling rapid evolutions in science data stewardship and facilitating new scientific advancements.  We welcome submissions that describe how connecting these groups is helping to establish modern data governance principles, bridge traditionally discipline-aligned silos in both tangible infrastructure and practical implementations, transition to cloud-based archival, focus attention on metadata quality, and facilitate advanced analysis methodologies via new and future technologies.  Presentations that highlight multi-platform/multi-sensor tool advances and/or tool consolidation are especially encouraged, as are technical implementations demonstrating FAIR principles, cloud-native architectures (small to enterprise scales), quality and AI-ready metadata, data management advances driven by user needs, and work demonstrating impactful science results from syntheses of physical samples, field-based, and/or space-based observations.
