NASA’s Earth Action (EA), within the NASA Earth Science Division, leverages NASA’s fleet of Earth observing satellites and comprehensive modeling capabilities to understand our planet, inform decision-making in communities, and use science to improve lives. This session will begin with an introduction to NASA EA, where EA leadership will provide an overview of EA and explore how EA links NASA science to decision-making and user adoption. Next, Principal Investigators from flagship EA programs will present projects that have been extremely successful in meeting user needs and supporting decision-making for earth science applications. To conclude the session, a panel conversation featuring EA leadership and several EA Program Managers will address audience questions regarding the EA Programs and share opportunities to collaborate with EA, such as the Private Sector Engagement initiative, Satellite Needs Working Group, and ROSES calls.
