Advanced Innovations in Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry and Isotope Metrology in Geosciences

Session ID#: 74906

Session Description:
Isotope ratio mass spectrometry is essential to geochemical research. Recent advances in solution and in-situ techniques, and methodologies of AMS, TIMS, MC-ICP-MS, SIMS, Noble Gas MS, High Resolution IRMS, and others have spawned new applications in diverse fields of earth sciences. We invite contributions that emphasize new developments in isotope ratio mass spectrometry, including advances in instrumentation, establishment of isotopic reference materials, novel techniques for high precision isotope ratio determination, and method development with respect to the determination of radiogenic, cosmogenic, and stable isotopes, among others.
