Fluxes of Greenhouse Gases and Related Pollutants on Urban Scales.

Session ID#: 75500

Session Description:
Urban areas play an outsized role in emissions and impacts of greenhouse gases and co-emitted pollutants; control efforts are often implemented by cities. We invite quantitative measurements and models of emissions, distributions, and fluxes of CO2, CH4, and related species on the scale of an urban area.  Submissions on source attribution, e.g., combining GHGs and CO and NOx, are encouraged.  Comparison to and evaluation of emissions inventories (biogenic and anthropogenic) as well as process studies will be discussed.  Studies involving surface-based, aircraft, and remote observations are welcome as are numerical simulations including inversions and trajectory analyses.
