Extra-Solar Planets: from Numerical Modelling, Observational and Data Science Perspectives

Session ID#: 79441

Session Description:
The current surge in amount of observational data has stimulated intense activities in many fronts of research in extra-solar planets by many communities. There is a need to bridge the gap among modelers in atmosphere and interior dynamics of exoplanets, and observations together with a link to the burgeoning field of Data Science, which can provide some new techniques of analysis.

We hope to assemble representatives from these three areas with the intent of spreading the new knowledge garnered up to now and to stimulate some cross-disciplinary discussion and new directions. We seek experts from these different areas and give overview thoughts, as well as other focused research.
