Remote Sensing to Support Investigations in Plant-Climate Interactions

Session ID#: 81971

Session Description:
The response of terrestrial vegetation to climate change is an active area of research, and includes changes in species distributions, phenology, physiology, and carbon, water, and energy cycling. While remote sensing provides important descriptions of vegetation state and dynamics, it is also a key dataset in environmental and ecological analyses of plant climate interactions. This session will attract papers that seek to utilize terrestrial remote sensing observations as primary datasets in analyses of plant-climate interactions, rather than focusing on the development of novel remote sensing products.
