Geodetic InSAR Time-series Analysis; Applications and Uncertainty Quantification

Session ID#: 82055

Session Description:
Sentinel-1 and NISAR with their free and open data policy, as well as, their regular acquisition and global coverage, are unlocking the operational use of InSAR for studying various geophysical processes. Unfortunately many of the existing processing methods are challenged by the shear volume and high spatial-temporal sampling of these data. There is a clear need to efficiently explore the full capacity of modern SAR observations. We welcome contributions that focus on new methods and algorithms to efficiently process large InSAR stacks for time-series analysis (including those at full resolution), and approaches that aim at quantifying the uncertainty of InSAR displacement time-series due to processing, propagation delays, as well as, environmental and scattering effects. In addition we welcome application of these methods for tectonic and non-tectonic studies including but not limited to near fault observations and modeling, critical infrastructure monitoring, soil moisture, landslides, and subsidence.
