Integrative Studies of Planetary Systems
Integrative Studies of Planetary Systems
Session ID#: 82116
Session Description:
At the present time, our knowledge of planetary science is growing at an astounding rate. With missions observing exoplanets, satellites, terrestrial planets, primitive bodies, plus the gas and ice giants we are getting a glimpse of new chemical and physical processes. Interpreting observations will rely on interdisciplinary studies that integrate theoretical modeling, and experimental laboratory and material work. This session will bring together these different communities to inform the types of environments and processes that may exist on these worlds and their respective observational properties. We welcome contributions highlighting the importance of laboratory work, and the collaborative nature between theoretical and experimental studies.
