Measurement and Understanding of Boundary Layer and Surface Processes of Trace Gases and Aerosols

Session ID#: 82470

Session Description:
Surface concentrations of trace gases and aerosols impacting air quality result from complex chemical and meteorological processes that involve emissions, boundary-layer mixing, free-tropospheric transport, and subsequent return to the surface of chemically altered species. Our ability to measure these concentrations and processes in higher spatio-temporal resolution contributes to our increasing understanding of these processes. This session invites papers focused on measurement and modeling studies focused on those processes affecting surface air-quality.
