Demonstrating the Value of Earth and Space Science through Community Engagement
Session ID#: 84878
Session Description:
The vision for AGU’s Centennial is to “broaden and deepen engagement within and outside the Earth and space science community.” AGU’s Celebrate 100 grants program is one of the many Centennial projects that strives to achieve this vision. The grants support projects demonstrating innovation, collaboration, impact and sustainability in promoting the value of Earth and space science.
This session will feature AGU Celebrate 100 grant awardees whose projects and events focused around formal and informal Earth and space science education or public engagement of Earth and space science. The session will feature a broad array of projects from around the globe. It is an alternate session format where presenters will talk about their projects for 5 minutes each followed by a panel discussion.
