T1 illustrates the raw water source for the entire CTD desalination process. Raw water sources can include, but are not limited to, brackish water, sea water or industrial waste water. This pumped intake water, from any of various sources, flows through a tube and shell apparatus called the Raw Water Heat Exchanger (Raw Water HX), comprised of F15 tubing comprised of LNG inlet flow and the shell consisting of T2 raw water, B3 brine and S7 saline ice melt flow.

B2 illustrates piped brine leaving the Evaporator HX to the Residual Brine HX Freezer/Separator. B2 brine leaving the Evaporator HX is repetitively divided by cryogenically pulsed F5 LNG tube bundles into B4 heavy brine salts and S1 saline ice in the Brine Freezer/Separator HX.

S1 illustrates the separation of saline ice from B4 brine caused by F5 pulsed-LNG in the Residual Brine HX Freezer/Separator. S1 saline ice is sheared away from heavy brine B4 by Figure 6 and 7, S5 pumped jets of S4 saline ice melt. S1 and some of the RWHX lighter water surface are collected in the Figure 6 and 7, S8 saline ice slurry sump and pumped as saline ice slurry in S2 piping to the CCGT Condenser HX.

F1 illustrates how inlet LNG specifically flows to and through F2 piping inside the Evaporator HX to condense P1 water vapor from B1 brine into P2, potable water.

F2 illustrates LNG tubing inside the Evaporator HX. LNG, in addition to T9 raw water tubing, helps condense P1 water vapor. Alternate F2 pulsed LNG promotes ice, then melting.

F3 illustrates natural gas piping connecting F2 with F9 and the Natural Gas Manifold.

C2 illustrates CCGT/HRSG heat flowing to and through the CCGT/HRSG. C2 to C3 piping continues as boiler feedwater flowing into CCGT Condenser HX to help melt saline ice slurry S2 into S3 saline ice melt and to heat T4 raw water.
