Jellyfish, The Indicators of the Ocean

Abstract:

Jellyfish are interesting species, meaning they give us unique insights to the current state of our environment. Spending time researching and analyzing jellyfish on Pensacola Beach and surrounding areas will help us have a good understanding of factors that affect jellyfish. Partnering with Jellyfishwatch.org will help us with consistent observations, recording data, and attempting to identify harmful situations for Jellyfish. With all said, this project will help make a positive influence in the community and inform us about how to best support the gulf shore area. This is a two year study.
