Abstract:
To provide its contribution to the next realization of the International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF2020), the International DORIS Service (IDS) plans to complete the re-analysis of the DORIS data from 1993.0 to 2021.0 by early 2021. In line with the time evolution of the DORIS satellite constellation and to some modelling issues, the complete re-analysis is divided in several parts.
By Fall 2020, the IDS Combination Center may have received all the IDS Analysis Center and Associated Analysis Center contributions from 1993.0 to 2020.0, i.e. over most of the ITRF2020 time span.
After presentation of the status of the main guidelines of the DORIS contribution to the ITRF2020, we will analyze the latest preliminary DORIS contribution to ITRF2020 in terms of (1) geocenter and scale solutions; (2) station positions and week-to-week repeatability; (3) EOPs; (4) cumulative position and velocity solution. Comparisons with the IDS contribution to ITRF2014 will address the benefits of the new models as well as including the latest DORIS missions (e.g. Jason-3, Sentinel-3A/B) in the IDS combination.
