Abstract:
Previous studies have suggested that past solar activity can be reconstructed using travertine sediment. 10Be content in annual travertine deposit from the modern period is well correlated to the modeled global 10Be production rates after correcting the climatological impact based on Potassium content. In this study, we further analyze the metallic elements in the travertine deposits to discuss the depositional process of 10Be and to further improve the method of correcting the climatological impact.
