Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic has illuminated both strengths and weaknesses of modern food systems. It has also underscored that simply returning to what was previously ‘normal’ won’t be good enough going forward. This presentations discusses some of the desirable innovations in agri-food value chains accelerated by the pandemic, and how those may help shape much-needed food systems transformations globally.
