Abstract:
Methane emissions have been monitored by an automatic chamber method at an Arctic fen site in Zackenberg valley, NE Greenland, since 2006 as a part of Greenland Ecosystem Monitoring (GEM) program. During July – August 2020 this monitoring was supplemented by eddy covariance measurements. Here we present the data obtained by both methods, discuss cross-validation, footprint heterogeneity, approaches to flux upscaling and modelling.
