Land subsidence monitoring in Louisiana using GNSS daily data

Abstract:
We determine the land subsidence in Louisiana using GNSS data archives from January 2013 to June 2020. We select 16 well distributed and entirely archived GNSS continuously operated stations over Louisiana State. These stations are a part of the GULFNET, a geodetic network managed by the Center for Geoinformatics (C4G) at Louisiana State University. The daily GNSS archived data files collected from the GULFNET are processed using an automated procedure to overcome and organize the multi-step tasks. These tasks include jobs such as pre-processing, processing post-processing GIPSY-X software. In the pre-processing task, various software programs employed to resolve and organize the raw data files and prepare them for processing. The satellite products and parameters are downloaded from the IGS website for processing the RINEX (Receiver Independent EXchange) files using GIPSY-X software. Finally, the horizontal and vertical velocities are estimated and analyzed in time-series for all stations.
