Abstract:
The Virtual Earth System Laboratory (VESL, https://vesl.jpl.nasa.gov) is an innovative and exciting interactive tool for communicating research findings to scientists, planners, and the public. Established in 2016, VESL now includes over ten visualizations based on select research in cryospheric, sea-level change, and solid earth sciences. This presentation will highlight a number of new visualizations, as well as a modeling tool based on the underlying Ice-sheet and Sea-level System Model (ISSM, https://issm.jpl.nasa.gov), to be developed over the next five years.
