A Two Year Study on Plastics in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties

Abstract:

A two year study has us working with Keep Pensacola beautiful, Bream Fishermans Association and Pensacola and Perdido Bay Estuary Program. Our focus this year is on sifting through sand to find micro plastic being washed up. We also want to look for nurdles that can be left behind from plastic products. We also are going to make an art piece that includes micro plastic from our beaches and watershed areas.
