Abstract:
Development of the physics-based heating and momentum source terms for Space Weather modeling is very important. The effects of the Alfvén waves have been considered for a long time in the solar wind models. In more sophisticated solar wind models, there is an additional equation that defines how the wave power evolves with time and heliocentric
