A Compendium of Resources for Remote Teaching

Abstract:

During the current global pandemic, a number of educators have turned to methods of remote teaching that were previously unfamiliar to them. There exist a number of platforms that support remote lecturing, group learning and peer evaluation. We have compiled a compendium of online resources to aid educators in space physics and geophysics with remote teaching. We briefly summarize the capabilities of each platform and resource, and include links to access them. Each resource is classified and evaluated on a number of criteria including accessibility and cost for both educator and students, and the ability to facilitate lecturing, active learning, group work, grading, feedback, and student engagement.
