Abstract:
In a contribution to the International Terrestrial Reference Frame, the analysis centers of the International GNSS Service (IGS) have started the third reanalysis of the historic GNSS data collected by the IGS global network in a fully consistent way using the latest models and methodologies. For the first time in an IGS reprocessing effort, orbits of GPS, GLONASS and GALILEO constellations are combined together in a multi-GNSS combination. This combination is enabled by a new version of the IGS Analysis Center Coordinator (ACC) combination software, which allows for combining multi-GNSS orbits through the same robust algorithm as the current combination software but new satellite-based weighting approach to consider for the different qualities of GNSS orbits provided by different analysis centers, as well as extended options for outlier removal of the multi-GNSS orbits. This work presents some of the results from the multi-GNSS combination of the orbits from the third reprocessing effort.
