Python Applications for Solar and Space Physics
Python Applications for Solar and Space Physics
Session ID#: 119817
Session Description:
For the past three years, the Python in Heliophysics Community (PyHC) has brought together Python software developers in Heliophysics and Space Science communities. Our efforts are centered around implementing standards formed by the group to guide code collaboration between PyHC developers, sharing lessons learned, reducing the incidence of duplicated efforts, identifying opportunities for future collaboration, and ensuring that existing software tools are interoperable and widely available. We intend this session to continue current collaborative efforts, to encourage new potential collaborations and connections, and to increase awareness of the resources provided by the PyHC. This session invites contributions from Python software projects across the Heliophysics and Space Science communities, including both scientific software and infrastructure projects.
