Advances in Satellite-based Lightning Analysis
Advances in Satellite-based Lightning Analysis
Session ID#: 122326
Session Description:
Space-based lightning observations continue to grow in prominence and coupled with ground-based observations have led to lightning becoming an essential climate variable. From the long period of record Lightning Imaging Sensor to current and future geostationary lightning platforms, these instruments offer an evolving tool to monitor, study, and apply lightning observations. This session invites submissions focusing on novel research and applications using space-based lightning observations.
