Environmental Migration
Session ID#: 122382
Session Description:
It is estimated that globally, environmentally-driven migrants will increase to 200 million by 2050. The research in this area is increasing quickly in recent years; they scatter across multiple disciplines using a wide range of theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches, producing different and sometime conflicting results. This session calls for papers to share their latest evidence related to environmental migration. Studies that are conducted in any region, at any scale, or from any (inter)disciplinary are welcomed.
