Warm Air Impacts Over the last several years, the normal pattern of north Pacific winter storms appears to have begun to change as warm air migrating north diverts Pacific storms northeast to Canada and Alaska, and diverting tropical storms into the central United States, utilizing 2019 – 2022 NASA GOES Band 8 imagery. Coordination with NASA is needed.
