IN003
Advances in Instrumentation for Earth and Space Science

Session ID#: 157520

Session Description:
Advances in informatics and instrumentation greatly benefit Earth and Environmental Sciences. In this session we wish to bring together research across all these different domains to share experiences, challenges and successes with new technologies. This includes advances in any part of the whole pipeline from in situ field measurements, through communications to data storage, management, retrieval, analysis and visualization.

With the rapid developments in informatics, software, sensors and networks it is difficult to know which new technologies can improve our science. This session encourages presentations on any recent advances which have proved useful or show promise for future deployments. We encourage contributions from across the AGU including student-led presentations and topics which would be of interest to other science domains.
