Surface development and crust-mantle interaction during planet formation and evolution
Surface development and crust-mantle interaction during planet formation and evolution
Session ID#: 160874
Session Description:
The formation and evolution of planetary surfaces, and the processes that sculpt them, vary widely not only between different bodies but also as a function of planetary age. In this session we encourage the presentation of new models and approaches for understanding planetary surface processes linked to mantle and crustal evolution. We invite abstracts from a wide range of disciplines, including geodynamics, geology, geochemistry, petrology, and would particularly encourage submissions that transcend these disciplinary boundaries.
