Community Engagement and Denial’s End in Portuguese History

Dhada’s paper documents in detail the deeply asymmetric role the scholarly community in Portugal and their allies in Britain played in supporting denial, while their counterparts outside Lisbon, rallied to advance the affirmative narrative, which in the end facilitated the appearance of the monograph.
