Session Abstract
This workshop will be the first in a series of three events during the course of AHA24 organized by Future of History in the Liberal Arts. We envision a workshop of about 20 faculty members from small liberal arts college history departments, who will pre-register. Two facilitators will model skill-building during an introductory presentation. After an initial full-group activity/conversation, participants will be divided into 3 to 4 groups that will start thinking through how to approach a specific difficult conversation in the liberal arts history classroom.
