Organized by the AHA Committee on LGBTQ Status in the Profession Do you want to take a break from the conference and meet other scholars in a low-key setting? The Committee on LGBTQ Status in the Profession invites you to drop in, talk to members of the committee, and build your network—or you might choose to sit in a comfortable chair and read. No socializing is required, although committee members are happy to talk to you about our work, what the AHA does to support you, and what you need from us. We are also happy to facilitate small-group conversations about the challenges facing LGBTQIA scholars at all levels in today’s challenging political environment.
