Computationally inspired methods for constructing protein combinatorial libraries have yielded a number of impressive results. This talk will describe the development and testing of a new computationally-based library design algorithm. The (wet laboratory) performance of this method with respect to diversity and preservation of function will be compared to several existing methods for generating protein combinatorial libraries.
