Preliminary Program subject to change
T7008 Envisioning Biorefineries: Chemical and Materials from Renewable Feedstocks Plenary (invited papers)
OverviewInvited talks will address one or more of the following topics: development or improvement of renewable feedstocks-based multiproduct biorefineries, including conceptual analysis and life cycle assessments; development or application of enabling separation processes; discovery or development of enabling enzymes or enzyme technologies; development of enabling microbes and fermentation processes; development of enabling catalytic processes; development of bio-based materials. Priority will be given to visionary talks on commercial, governmental, and academic efforts to improve existing or develop new muliti-product biorefineries based on renewable feedstocks (starch and oil crops and lignocellulosic biomass).
