T1006 Novel Membranes and Membrane Processes for Water Treatment and Production
OverviewMembranes processes are being widely in water reuse/waste treatment applications and difficult material recovery from solvent-based systems. This session will consider the development of new membranes that include organic, inorganic, inorganic-organic hybrids, both in solid or liquid form. Papers will include fundamental aspects (RO, NF, pervaporation, facilitated transport, etc), new membranes, novel water/waste effluent treatment applications for reuse and material recovery, hybrid membrane processes, VOC removal/recovery, full-scale applications, etc
