The catalysts were prepared by co-precipitation method and modified by the promoters for the higher stability and hydrogen yield. Reaction tests were conducted by using a feed ratio of H2O/C/O2 = 3/1/0.37 between 300 and 700 °C. Catalysts were characterized by XRD, TEM, FESEM, TPR and N2 adsorption. Catalytic activity was observed to be enhanced by the addition of the alkali earth metals and ceria. It was further increased when the catalysts was modified by noble metals. Among the alkaline earth metals, larger atomic-numbered metals showed higher activities. The modified catalysts showed higher dispersion, smaller average particle size of nickel and lower carbon deposition after reaction. Extended Abstract Status: Not Uploaded | ||
