Chemical engineers have been among the most productive innovators of the past several decades, with broad and flexible skills that can deliver creative solutions to numerous problems. However, innovation productivity of engineers in corporations is often suppressed by a series of sometimes invisible or silent innovation killers. We will discuss several concepts, including the "Horn of Innovation" paradigm, guidance on creating a healthy innovation culture, tips for strengthening the "will to share" in your innovation community, and recommendations for engineers facing internal innovation barriers.
