Fundamentals of Environmental Sustainability

Description:
This session invites contributions on fundamental methods for the analysis and design of sustainable products, processes and systems. Of particular interest are methods with applicability to a wide variety of products, processes and systems. Methods of interest include life cycle analysis, systems wide environmental impact assessment, exergy and thermodynamics metrics of process efficiency. Papers demonstrating the successful implementation of sustainable process development methodologies or integration of process design and business approaches for sustainable development are welcome.
