By primary nano self-assembly in a supersoluble micelle, nano aluminum hydroxide and nano nickel hydroxide were synthesized in situ, and then secondary spherical or cylindrical nano aluminum hydroxide and nano nickel hydroxide were self-assembled in the surfactant template with VB value less than 1, respectively. And then the aluminum hydroxide and nickel hydroxide were calcined for removing surfactant template in the in the secondary nano self-assembly precursor. After the calcination, the nano bulk nickel catalyst with super macropore channels, which belong to framework channels built each other by the cylindrical nanoparticales, has been prepared. The results of analytical characterization showed that there are a lot of 100 to 200 nm channels, and most of particles are spherical besides partly are cylindrical. The bulk nickel catalyst have high surface area about 252 m^2/g, the most probable pore size16.5 nm. The lateral pressure intensity and accumulation density of the sample are 9.2 N/mm and 0.3 g/mL, respectively. As a result, the bulk nickel catalyst we prepared has high surface area, large pore volume, high strength and continuous pore channel framework structure.
