240 Reactions In Near-Critical and Supercritical Fluids
240 Reactions In Near-Critical and Supercritical Fluids
Tuesday, October 30, 2012: 8:30 AM
319 (Convention Center )
Description:
This session focuses on new experimental and theoretical investigations of chemical reactions and reaction engineering that occur within supercritical or high-pressure media, including near-critical fluids and gas-expanded liquids. Some areas of interest are homogeneous and heterogeneous catalytic reactions, biphasic systems, innovative reaction/separation schemes which take advantage of the variable solvent power of SCFs, and continuous reactions in high-pressure media.
