Characters of hydromechanics behavior such as pressure drop, entrainment and forth height and mass transfer performance of NS high efficiency packed sieve composite plate were studied totally, and were compared with ordinary dual-flow sieve tray. Effect of hydromechanics  on mass transfer performance of the NS composite plate was discussed. Finally, a optimal operating range were determined, which provide the foundation for industrial applications of the NS composite plate. This special structure can fill the high efficiency, large flux, low pressure drop, large operation range and steady operation demand. “full-mixture” structure provide possibility for simplifying calculation model and improve modeling precision. Bubbles in NS efficient composite plate became smaller and favorable foam layer formed on the plate which made a large gas-liquid contact interface and large renew ratio. Compared with ordinary plates, mass transfer efficiency of NS plate was 20% more than ordinary ones. The efficiency was more than 80% and almost reach 100% at large gas velocity in the whole operation range.
