336819 Liquid-Liquid Equilibria of Three Ternary Systems (Water + Propargyl Alcohol + n-Propyl Acetate, or + iso-Propyl Acetate, or + iso-Butyl Acetate)
The liquid-liquid equilibria of three ternary systems (water + propargyl alcohol + n-propyl acetate, water + propargyl alcohol + iso-propyl acetate, and water + propargyl alcohol + iso-butyl acetate) were experimentally investigated under the temperature of (279.15 - 321.15) K and the atmospheric pressure in this work. 15 profiles of isothermal liquid-liquid equilibria data measured by gas chromatograph were provided. The quality of experimental tie-line data was attested using the Othmer-Tobias equation and the Bachman equation. The consistency of the experimental data indicates that the detected data are confident. The experimental results shows that propargyl alcohol (PA) concentration in n-propyl acetate (NPA) phase and in iso-propyl acetate (IPA) phase raise a bit more rapidly than that in iso-butyl acetate (IBA) phase with PA concentration in water phase increasing. Each system behaves typeⅠof LLE. NRTL model was used to correlate the experimental data and the binary interaction parameters of three investigated systems were obtained. But the predicted values of PA concentration in water phase are some large than the measured data. The total root-mean-square deviation (RMSD) calculated for three systems were 0.0104 (NPA), 0.0157 (IPA) and 0.0117 (IBA) respectively.
