Abstract�F

Imbibition oil recovery theory main includes capillary forces, wettability alteration, ion desorption and flow theory. There are many effects on imbibition, including the reservoir rock wettability, reservoir properties, fluid properties and reservoir environmental. However, the scholars’ views are not consistent. The effect factors and the relationship for imbibition oil recovery are comparative analysis, and the latest experimental research methods are introduced. The future direction of development of the imbibition oil recovery theory and the problem need to solve were predicted.
