AIChE K-12 Module, Grades K-2 (5) - Polymer Bouncy Balls

In this lab we evaluate a polymer chemical reaction and the entanglement of these polymers that form an elastic compound that can be molded into a bouncy ball toy. Students will analyze the effect of temperature on the elasticity, or ‘bounciness’, of the ball.
