This session focuses on fundamental aspects of heterogeneously/homogeneously catalyzed reactions in bulk condensed media (aqueous or non-aqueous), including catalyst stability; solvent effects; reactant/product transport, sorption, and thermodynamics/kinetics in condensed media; and first-principles modeling of reactions in the condensed phase.
