Sunday, June 10, 2018: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Magnolia (Hilton Lexington)
Description:
This workshop is an excellent opportunity for students and post-docs to hear from and network with experienced membrane scientists who have selected different career paths, from industry to academia. The workshop will start with a career panel, where membrane experts in industry, academia and the federal government will give their perspectives and answer questions submitted by the students. This will be followed by an opportunity for each student to meet and talk with the panelists and other membranologists in industry and academia, get their resumes reviewed, and network. Panel will start at 2 pm. The resume review/networking session will start around 3 pm in the same room.
