Industrial Test Trials with Membrane Distillation

This paper will summarize the potential applications of membrane distillation process such as seawater desalination and water reclamation from industrial effluent. Performance of MD process will be presented from numerous synthetic and actual feeds. A spectrum of membrane distillation configurations was also evaluated.
